In Memory - Jerome Dominguez

9/11 = 2996

Geronimo (Jerome) Mark Patrick Dominguez, 37 years old, was killed at the World Trade Center on 11 September 2001.

Jerome was an officer with the NYPD Emergency Services Unit. He had been with the NYPD since mid-1985 (another source indicates July 1987 - a typo in one, perhaps), and he was also in the Air Force Reserve, where a friend of Jerome's remembers "He was very much into tradition and honor" .

Jerome was engaged. Left behind were his fiancee, his mother and father, and a brother. Here's a page written by Jerome's father. Here's a memorial page containing postings by Jerome's family, friends, fiancee, and others who learned of him by their research or reading about the events of 9/11.

Officer Dominguez, you are definitely not forgotten!

Comments:
thank you for helping me remember.

A fine young man, serving his nation and his neighbors. Lost to the hatred of others. What a loss for his family, friends and community.

Thanks for this tribute, Bob.
